It cannot be discussed on one web page since writing is an action, preceded by an enormous amount of experiences which forces me to put pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard. All writers get ideas from their experiences, whether they created the reason or something outside of themselves gave them a reason to write.
Some of the best writing I do is through poetry. The length of the sentences and the passion and color which protrudes from my consciousness, in those moments of pure, estatic creativity, fulfills me in a way only a poet could understand. There is something very satisfying in writing a poem which, for me, is created within an hour. An hour in which my feelings, excitement, sorrow, fear and wisdom all come together in a flash of energy.
When I think of prophets from ancient times, or even the really great ones alive today, their words come out in voice, as a poet's does on paper. Immediate satisfaction in the release of information which over-rides the logical, speech patterns of culture.
The writers and prophets I have met in my lifetime have all agreed on one thing, That being, if they die and no one ever listens to them or reads their works, it matters not.
What matters is they listened to that still, small voice in their heart and expressed themselves in the only way that satified them completely. Their day-to-day lives were richer for it and the depths of their souls, that were revealed to them, helped them understand thier purpose and passions. Everyone should recognize passion in whatever purpose they choose follow on this earth.
